I have a female liver-coloured bedlington terrier who is a bundle of fluffy fun. She has one white toe and a white bib. Her colour will lighten to almost white but with a light red/brown tinge to it. She is curious, confident, loves the flowers and the garden and biting my ankles! I've got 4 names in mind...
Tia - like the coffee liqueur. Means 'princess/crowned one' in Greek.
Ivy - cos she's clingy and cos her blue eyes and red/brown hair remind me of the blind girl character in The Village film.
Blossom - cos she'll be almost white and loves flowers and will hopefully play in the blossom (if we ever get any!)
Bibi - pronounced Be-be. I call her baby and its as close as, plus it means 'lady' in Kiswahili and 'daughter of a king' in African.
Which one?
Or can you suggest a better name for this special girl?
I'm very open to suggestion.
I can't call her baby or puppy for much longer, she has to learn a real name!
Thanks, from me and puppy x
Help me pick a puppy name!?
Bibi
Reply:Blossom sounds like it describes her and is still a good name.
Reply:out of ur names i would pick

belinda?
Reply:Wow, i wonder what will happen when you have children. you put a lot of thought into it. I like Bibi b/c of the African language connection. But it means daughter of a king in which African language?
Reply:Tia (greek names are the best) :-P
Reply:Fluffy or Bibi Pie. kh
Reply:Ivy or Tia....
Reply:I like Tia best. Some garden names that could be cute - Flower, Fleur, Dandelion - I love this name, Dandy for short, Lotus, Willow, Rampion - the plant Rapunzels mother craved when preggers.
Reply:Sammi
Reply:I love Tia and Ivy
Reply:Bibi is my choice from your list.
My own ideas are
Pumpkin
Star
Wuffles (it's a literary ref - can anyone name the book or author?)
Shandi (after the white tiger at Longleat)
Zeezee
Reply:Tia also means 'aunt' in spanish :)
I think that one is the best, it is much easier to say compared to Ivy and Blossom. Bibi is okay too I guess that would be my second choice. Goodluck
