Abortion...???

The bible is pro-abortion? You read and decide.

"If men quarrel, and one strike a woman with child, and she miscarry indeed, but live herself: he shall be answerable for so much damage as the woman's husband shall require." Only if the woman dies because of the abortion does the perpetrator deserve death. "But if her death ensue thereupon, he shall render life for life."

Okay, obviously the baby isn’t really considered a person because its death isn’t avenged with death; hence an eye for an eye. Now if the woman was killed too, then it is considered the death a human so the guy is put to death. So according to this verse, a baby is not considered to be a human being until out of the womb. Why would God’s stance on the significance on a fetus change today? God's word does not change; there is no reason especially for the significance of a fetus to vary now either.

Notice too how the HUSBAND decides what punishment the other guy gets? Isn’t that terrible that the woman has no say at all? And you people believe in this crap? So sad… You truly are heartless terrorist if you are a believer in the bible…

Remember this:

Psalm 19; 7 Yahweh's law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of Lord stands forever.

1 peter 1:24-25

"may he (the Lord) make thy thigh to rot, and may they

belly swell and burst asunder. Let the cursed water enter into thy

belly, and may thy womb swell and they thigh rot." (15:21-22)

Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. - Isaiah 13

Samaria shall bear her guilt, because she has rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword, their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open. - Hosea 13

“Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer. Give them, 0 Lord: what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts . . . Ephraim are smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.” Hosea 9:11-16

“Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every women that hath known man by lying with him.” Numbers 31:17

Abortion...???
Yep. God clearly isn't a pro-lifer.
Reply:You misquote the scripture reference: In the original language, the word used there refers to a live baby (just as it does every other place it's used) A more accurate interpretation would be that, if the baby is born prematurely %26amp; no other mischief follow, then the husband shall decide the fine Report It

Reply:a baby isn't considered a person until we know for sure it will live - it has to be 30 days old to be a person. although you don't die for it, according to the Bible you can't kill an animal unless you will eat from it. you cant kill a baby just because you don't like it. once it is 30 days old, however, you do get the death penalty for killing it.
Reply:there is alot more versus that says that the baby is a life , try reading it all and then u will know that God doesn't need women to have abortions, if the baby isn't meant to be born then they will have a miscarriage but that is for God to decide, we must not play God and have an abortion and murder an innocent child
Reply:As a woman myself I have the right the choose. There are issues that come may come up or things that can factor into abortion issues.

This is how I see it.

One is not my utureus and its not my body

Two I will not judge someone for there decision. since i'm not god that's not my job.

Three I have had friends that have had abortions and friends who have no and I have stuck by them

Four it is there choice the only thing I can make sure is that they are well informed on the decision they make.
Reply:Jesus Christ Brought grace to all this .Jesus,s Blood destroyed

all curses, still Abortion shouldn't happen it offends THE FATHER

study the New testament God #1 law is Love
Reply:Remember that in a quarell, the man is not attacking the fetus. The fetus is incidental to the target of his attack which is the female. What if the target of the attack is the fetus itself?

The fetus is a potential baby. A baby is a potential man/woman. A man/woman is a potential father/mother of many generations. Killing any fetus in your lineage at any point would have killed thousands. It is not just emotional talk, it is a fact.

Do not look at the harsh words selectively. Look at the overall message of both the OT and the NT and the Quran. They represent a direction that will lead mankind to the path of compassion. It is allowed to fight hard against those who attack you, but the purpose is really to keep compassion alive and defeat the bullies of this World.

I know this may seem hollow to you, as you are reading passages without looking at the larger context.
Reply:sorry it is against it

not for it
Reply:I’m sorry, I’m not familiar with that passage. Where is it found?

And I do believe in the bible whole heartedly. If you have more questions email me!!
Reply:Try reading the whole bible instead of taking something out of context and twisting it to what you want it to say. This is why Jesus left us with one universal Church with authority to interpret sacred scripture because He knew that the ignorant and unstable would be trying to twist scripture to their own destruction.
Reply:The Bible is indifferent to abortion. It is when those who like to broadcast there faith that the Bible is against abortion. Or would like to fight for something noble.

You can quote every biblical reference you can against abortion but can you walk in the shoes of a pregnant women contemplating abortion and feel her pain.

When you quote scripture are you saying it with the spirit of Christ with you or are appealing to your own ego.

It is easy to say what is right and wrong but the truth is a little harder to discern.

God law is perfect.

Mans interpretation of Gods law is imperfect.
Reply:It is a matter of contex. In those day you were not a person until you ba/t mitzfa (spelled wrong) adulthood. women in Israelite culture did get moderate respect but women and children in that day were primarily possessions/things not people.

We know that to be wrong thinking so it is not too far off to say the God that knit us together in the womb would define value to a fetus or partially knit human
Reply:As the woman's husband requires.

Give the 10 to someone who agrees with you.

You do not understand what you have typed.

You have very minimal comprehension on this subject. Sorry for being cynical but people such as yourself pick verses and try to rationalize with little understanding what they think they know.

Anyone can cut and paste. It takes knowledge and perseverance to understand scriptures.

Oh yes, and the Holy Spirit.

God Bless.
