Girl name help please!?

I THOUGHT we had decided on the name Liliana for our little one. But now daddy to be is having second thoughts. He dosent want the baby named after a flower...

I want something similar to Liliana... But I havent found much.

I saw the name Miliana and I actually like it.

Any opinions on the name Miliana? Any other similar names to Liliana that you know?

Thanks in advance!

Girl name help please!?
I personally like Mila, similar to Miliana of course, she would just get called milly for short either way!

Out of liliana, you could get

Liana

Lily (which i think the daddy is not keen on by the sounds of it)

lillia

lila even.

good luck!
Reply:Maybe Lynnia(lynn-eye-a). Maliana is cut but it sounds asian.
Reply:how about illiana or kihanna
Reply:how about juliana?
Reply:Those are all very lovely names!

Other suggestions:

Lana

Lanana

Lily (a flower name is still lovely)!
Reply:Congratulations!

Liliana is not a flower (are you talking about Lily? it's really up to you to make sure she is called Liliana and no nicknames are used....

If it makes you feel any better for our second daughter we had decided on a name, then when she was born and I first saw her, I thought to myself, "she doesn't look like a Mina!"

so we put the name on hold, until my husband was taking a little nap, and then he just wakes up and says...what about "so an so".. it was a name we never even considered with either of our girls. And so, my daughter's name was decided about 8 hours after she was born.
Reply:Liliana is actually a very cute name.. but if you don't want it, how about Alliana or Pollyanna... or Leila perhaps... my former classmate's name is Leila Grace... and I found it really appealing.
Reply:my boyfriends co workers' name is miliani it's kinda like milianna. you can go to www.babyzone.com and find out what the name means and other ways to write it so it doesn't resemble the flower. how about ciciliana ( se seal e ana) or chaylieana (shay lee ana) i think the names u chose are cute i think the names i made up are also cute.
Reply:That is a pretty name and its unique.

Emmalina?

Annika?

Tatiana?

Good Luck.
Reply:i would normally say Lily or Violet but this is a tough one ,

how about Summer?
Reply:It's okay can be shortened to Millie.

Maybe just Liana or Lianna
Reply:The only one I can think of is Lilaina/Lilayna. pron. Lil-aye-nuh.

Don't forget that the docs can be wrong about the sex of the baby. One of my grandsons was a girl in the ultrasounds even at 20 minutes before he was born. But, when he popped out he had a pickle. My daughter and her husband had no boy names picked out at all. He was just baby for the first couple of days. Good luck, Rail
