My honey hates the whole flowers/candy/stuffed animal thing -





so I got him some baby bamboo trees I saw him staring at recently


and hand-made him a card with a poem I wrote

What are you getting your difficult man for VD?
From his girl on Valentine's Day any guy would appreciate a simple card, or food such as a chocolate cake. Avoid the gaudy laced cards or gifts; and avoid the sickly sweet candy with the lame sayings on them. Most guys like practical gifts: a movie pass; a subway pass; gift certificates at restaurants or bars, etc.





Basically Valentine's Day is a women's event and not really for guys.

I'm going to give him a sculpy noteholder (its dorky; a little t-rex holding a heart), a geeky card with html on it, and a handmade stuffed 'vintage' Koi. Oh, the student budget. :P
