Tell me the single most thing you know, to prove God exists?

Do not quote scripture, do not say "my baby girl or boy, or look at the pretty trees and flowers." Tell me the single most significant event or world proof of an existence of God and or Jesus that you can.





I'm sicking of wondering, I want to know.





You cannot dispute that most all parnormal things, Godly events, psychic etc, that happened 400 years ago have now been dis-proven by science. The window for the "unexplained, therefor it must be Godly, or supernatural" is shrinking by the day due to science. For example, we now know that NDE can be recreated using magnetics directly on the brain. It's been proven that NDE are the brain dying. We all see white lights because our brain is dying.





How can there be 38 major religions, same as a rollette wheel? How can they all claim to be the right one? They all have "proof" the other religion is wrong. So does the lucky rollete winner who picked the right one go to heaven, all the rest to helll? Makes no sense. Give me your best proof

Tell me the single most thing you know, to prove God exists?
Wow, you're hostile! Since I believe that God created the world, and, therefore the rules of science, citing scientific eveidence doesn't disprove His involvement to me. So you can chalk that argument up as a loss right now and save yourself some time and effort. Honestly, the way the universe and the world we live on are ordered, how everything just "works" when it should be chaos, that's a miracle to me. And yes, the pretty trees and the flowers, the babys I get to see everyday, they are proof that God exists, that He exists and that He is good. There is no one thing that proves it, if you want to find everything you can to explain it away. I feel His presence when I feel alone and cry out to Him. I know that He spared my mother's life when she had breast cancer. I know that He has been there for me every time I've needed Him, even when I didn't know I needed Him, and He's never let me fall. I can't offer proof all wrapped up in a pretty pink ribbon on a plate, but I know that it is, because I was open for Him to prove it to me. If you open yourself to Him, He will show you himself, but He's not going to knock the door down, you have to let Him in. I don't think God is nearly so secretive or mysterious as people say He is, they just don't allow themselves to see what's right in front of their faces.





As for the (more than) 38 religions, that's because God meets us where we are, and different people have had meetings with God that they have interpreted in their own way. If we were all more respectful of each other's beliefs, and not so arrogant as to think that our way was the only way, we would see that many of these religions have some very important similarities and some of the differences are really just symantics. We can't say that this was is right and that way is wrong, because we don't know what God has revealed to someone that He didn't reveal to us. There's no luck, or roulette wheel, you trust in God and do live in the way you truly believe is right, that's what He wants.

Reply:Mathew,Mark,Luke,and John were eyewitnesses to the events of Jesus' life! People actually lived the lives and events of the Bible and they are proven on archaeological finds! They are not unexplained or shrinking as you say but are growing! There has not been one thing disproved that happened in the Bible!

Reply:I once was lost, but now am found. When you are a sinner and you experience the forgiveness and grace through His shed blood- your faith will be enough proof for you.

The changes that have taken place since I've become a Christian are profound. But impossible to show to someone who is a stranger.

Reason and logic are lost on people that rely on "faith" to justify outrageous beliefs. Since "faith" is the only thing they have, it cannot be proven.
Reply:Nothing I say can truly convince you that God does exist. That is something you just have to believe-- it takes faith. That is the core of a relationship with YHWH.





I suppose something that has always "proved" His existence to me was many of the places and people talked about in the Bible are also recognized throughout history for the same things.





Yes, there are things mentioned in the Bible that history has not proved, but it doesn't mean they aren't really there. Someone has to rediscover them! Up into a little over 100 years ago, no one believed that Troy was real. Then what do you know? A man found such a place-- things are just waiting to be discovered.





This isn't all there is, but it is a start. I hope you continue your journey... its worth each step.

Jesus Christ is alive, if He wasn't this would be another religion, another act of going to church to be religious and people would not change inside, they all would retain there same corruption, sin, and let me tell you that there are few that have found Jesus and been set free of their sin truly. I am living proof of His existance in my heart, His light shines in me, whats more if you want, and I only tell you this because my testimony may not be enough for you and you seek answers, go and find the museum for yourself which holds the tablet which Moses wrote the law on, go to the place where Jesus was buried, His tomb is still there this day. They have claimed to have now found the Ark of the Covenant and whats more if you really look closely at what scientists are discovering, it all points to God, if you want to know where I get my facts from, go see a DVD called The Priviliged Planet, or you can obtain the book, this is a combination of physics, science, astronomony and their research and conclusion they have been led to God. The fact is you are gonna be searching for answers all your life. Consider how wonderfully made the human body is, go and study it and see for yourself, learn the facts about the human body, look at the universe and the amount of stars and planets out there, its too awesome and science proves now that the earth is no coincidence, its no chance, its no a lucky gamble in the universe and it proves that there is a creator because all the factors that keep and sustain conditions for the earth to keep going and to sustain life on earth are so delicately and perfectly balanced that its too impossible to be chance. There is a whole list of factors and reasons why its no chance (refer to the The Priviliged Planet). I before needed facts, but now I have Jesus in my heart and dont need to be convinced by people but in my own heart Christ lives in me and I testify to you that He is alive.





The fact, Jesus Christ came and lived to die on the cross for all our sins. The facts are in you. Look into your own heart and tell me there isn't anything wrong. If you can tell that you see no sin and no corruption within you, then Jesus died in vain. Check your sin, its real, its too real. The division of the religions is the devil's biggest weapon, to confuse people, but no one comes unto the Father except by the Son, why? You are a sinner and God cannot be united with sinners.. but if your sin has been paid for by Jesus by his blood and is the price that God accepts for all sins then you are reunited with God and you obtain peace beyond all understanding because the wall of partition is broken down that seperates you from God by the blood of Jesus if you accept him in your heart and confess with your mouth that He is the Christ.





I testify to you of the one who lives in me, I was once lost, searching for lies, aliens, pyramids, all kinds of excuses or reasons not believe God and His word, because sin was is in me, sin doesnt believe. The sting of death is sin and the power of sin is the law, the law of God. You cannot forfull the law of God, if you break one law you have failed already and there is no need to continue trying for you have come short. You break one commandment of God and you have failed to meet his requirements, thus it is the power of sin, it teaches us that we cannot keep the law of God, its impossible, but Jesus kept and forfulled it that through Him we may have life, that is be reunited with God who gives life.





So if your sin is real to you, I hope you realise that you all people are slaves to it and cannot escape it, for they are bound by it and the only way to be freed from it is through Jesus, think about this. If your sin is againt God, who must forgive you? God himself, even though we deserve not to be forgiven Jesus died and paid for all our sins so that we can be reunited with God in peace. Through Christ Jesus you have forgiveness of your sins which is against God. No religion can pay that price, only the blood of Jesus, the only price God accepted, not doing church service and been kind and feeding the poor, but the blood of Jesus only. You are not condemned because you are a sinner, if anyone tells you bad and not good like them I dare you to tell them that they have fallen just as hard as you, because there is no one righteous, no one seeking God, not one can pay the price of sin but Jesus Christ, and therefore you too can have peace again with God and I testify to you as one who has been adopted through Christ Jesus as a child of God, I testify of the Holy Spirit in me, I testify that God changed me and set me free from my internal corruption that church could never change. God says that there good works that they think makes them better than you and seperates them from you is like stinking rags before His sight.





I am your living proof of God's existance and if you would like my testimony and the testimony of my friends who witnessed the change in my life, the miracle working power of God, I would gladly send it to you that you too may know that Jesus Christ died for your sins and has made a way for you to have a hope beyond anything in this world, a hope that extends for eternity a hope that will become real inside you if you call on His name and accept that you are a sinner and accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour.

Reply:all I can say is all you can do is follow your heart... Believe what makes u feel good and what feels right for you. You don't even have to believe in God if you don't wanna there is nothing wrong with that.. Because religion is a belief like a theory not hard evidence. I myself am Wiccan/Pagan but thats just cuz it feels right to me... I believe all Gods are one God if they are all positive and don't harm others... But thats just me doesn't mean I am right or wrong we will all find out when we die if there even is anything out there...

and how the sun "comes up" and goes down in perfect harmony with what we need, the rain, how it comes down to water the THOUSANDS of different kinds of plants and food we eat from corn to rice to Barley to Wheat...........Look how things all tie together, the fish eat worms and we eat fish and the birds (some) eat fish...............the way babies are born and how men and women are designed to compliment each other...........how we are designed even for sexual pleasure as well as it being "productive'. I mean there is so much GLORY out there that declare God's handiwork, the different colors, the different kinds of trees, shrubs, flowers........MAJESTIC. take a good look around you. Creation speaks there is a God more than anything. but there is also fullfilled Prophecy.





You know so what if there are many religions? God said that different parts of the body, the hand, the eyes, the feet.........I mean people are functioning as different "Parts" of God........when you put it all together you see God as he really is. Look deeper and look harder you will find the treasures of truth. And as for science I"m sorry there is many great healing discoveries because of science or there WERE I should say. But it's getting stupider not more intelligent. The THEORIES being presented as fact and chanted like a mantra is just horrific. And Science is very corrupt now. The pharmacy companies with scientists help are shooting out PILLS of all sorts without even trying to heal people naturally. It's sick. It's greed. It's sin. It's love of money/root of all evil.


JUST like the bible said would happen.

Miracles: people can not invent so many things: Jesus did this and inventing a god and stories about him when you know the true lord of existence will punish you with severity makes no sense. for example I was WIDE awake when I saw an imprint of someone sitting on my bed and froze, then the imprint got up and left....





I don't believe in God because of that (I believe for a different reason) but that's just an example of strange things that occur that Scientific American Journals haven't quite explained to me
Reply:The cheese toast auction(s) on Ebay. Things like this could not possibly happen in a logical rationalistic world.
Reply:I believe in evolution, so I believe that humans derived from single cell organisms, and I also believe the single cell organism became because of a random mix of chemicals and reactions. This itself is phenominal but it somehow could happen naturally I guess. But the chemicals must have come from somewhere- evolutionalists say out of space, but how did they get there? If you keep going back and back and back you find that in the end it means something appeared from nothing at all, this is a miricle and that is where God comes in. I believe there must have been a God to start the whole thing off in the first place.


Where God came from, that's a totally different story!
Reply:The Laws of Moses are written from a non-human scientific mind who had the knowledge of all fields of microbiology including the working knowledge of the germ theory past, present and yet discovered by man. Is that enough proof that a God named Yahweh who is quoted in the Bible teaching these instructions to some guy named Moses exists? Sounds like it to me. Next question.

Reply:Aesity means self-existence. Aesity explains the metaphysical nature of God as a purely self-existent being that exists in complete actuality. God is not a being that is created by another god; neither does God create himself into existence. Rather, God has always existed as an unchanging, completely actualized being.








God has his Being of himself and to himself such that he is Absolute being and the definition of existence.


Since God’s essence is his nature and God’s existence is the same as his essence it follows that God is existence.
Reply:That Christ, though he was without sin and had committed no wrong, willingly and in full knowledge allowed himself to be tortured on a cross. He did this to show us how much God loves us. He died, and a Roman soldier put a lance through his heart, and they put him in a tomb. This all happened on a Friday. On Sunday, when the women who loved him went to the tomb, they found it empty, and shortly thereafter Christ appeared to the apostles very much alive, and with the wounds of his crucifixion still on his body. There were many other miraculous events surrounding the life of Christ, but this is the main one, his own resurrection. Pray, and meditate on Christ's death and resurrection, and you will know that there is a God.

Reply:I cannot and would not try to convince you that there is a God. This is a very personal thing and it is too controversial to argue. Either you have had a personal experience and BELIEVE or not. You are not wrong if you don't believe, because God gave us free will. Search....not on Yahoo Answers, but within yourself.

Reply:there is no proof. back in bablon times or when ever 'god' showed up there was a kingdom with a harsh, mean ruler who was hated by his people. the people became inraged and killed him on a cross, or so they though. apparently he told them ' i will return' and so did 3 days later came and killed a lot of people with the help of his followers. it was a big masacre and lots of blood shed.





i'm atheist and i'll stay that way for life. there is NO PROOF OF 'GOD' OR 'JESUS' ... its all a load of bull.








if you are 'religious' w/e i dont care, i'm not going to tell you you're wrong, i'll just tell you your wasting you life away and you can pretend all you want, but you can't get me to play along.
