[A Sweet Dream]
I’m lying in my bed
I’m leaning to my left
Stare at a plain pale wall
I close my eyes
I breathe in…
I breathe out…
I open my eyes
Instead of seeing a plain pale wall
I see flowers
I’m lying in a field of them
I’m looking up at a baby blue sky
The suns heat fills me with warmth
The smell of flowers
Is all around me
All of a sudden
I hear rustling in the flowers
Someone’s walking towards me
I sit up
I look around and see no one
So I stand
I turn around
To look behind me
And I’m shocked to see
Her
Standing right in front of me
She looks at me
She starts to grin
I can’t help but giggle
She gives the cutest grins
I smile back at her
As I’m staring into her beautifully colored eyes
And as she stares into mine
I see her mouth
Start to open
Words are about to come out…
Then everything stops…
I can’t feel the sun
I can’t smell the flowers
And the slight breeze
Is now gone
I look at her
She is still as stone
I can’t hear
Or even see
Her breathing
A Love Poem?
I liked it though you misspelled the word slight somewhere in there. Heh just being an a$$ sorry for that but all in all it was good though in my opinion there are more powerful words than that to e spoken. The words " I love you" have been spoken so many times that like an old blade they have become dull and the power which they once held has diminished. Now those words have little meaning. Yet if you my friend believe you can bring meaning back to those words, and sharpen that blade as such to cut threw to the heart and soul of the one you care for than be my guest.
Reply:agree probably time to truly tell her because thinking of it onl can cause these type of fears and insecurities. We can think the worst of things and wreck a good thing that way. just do what you gotta do and get it over with and should tun out better than this poem you made about a heart of stone.
Reply:That is One of the Best Poems I have read i n a Long time!
I want more!
